Weigh-in dress code is lightweight clothing, as defined in the “Definitions” section. In addition, players must wear substantially equivalent clothing for their official weigh-in and weigh-out. Note: Referees review weigh-in and weigh-out videos side by side to ensure compliance.

Be the challenge uses random checks and algorithms to detect unusual activity within a game or across games and employs an auditing system where some players may be required to submit extra proof of their weight loss using a video weigh-in. If you are flagged by our system for an audit, you will be required to submit a video weigh-in for all future verified weigh-ins until the flag is removed by one of our Referees Failure to comply with our audit requirements will result in disqualification and forfeiture of your winnings . You may also be banned from playing again. We have a zero-tolerance policy on cheating. 

The same scale should be used for official weigh-ins, whenever possible. Scales should be digital or doctor’s scales and placed on a hard, flat surface. Note: analog scales are permitted but significantly increase the likelihood of an audit 

All you need is a mobile phone with a camera a news paper a packet of water and a calibrated set of weighing scales

Initial weigh-ins establish a player’s official starting weight. The initial weigh-in must be submitted starting from 72 hours before challenge begins. If a player fails to submit their initial weigh-in, they will be disqualified with no refund. Note: weights are never revealed without a player’s explicit permission, except privately and confidentially to Be the Challenge.

For verified weigh-ins, players must submit a video themselves (Verifying the date, verifying scale calibration, verifying weight on a scale for review and approval by Be The Challenge. 

 

The first step for date verification of the date is done by holding a newspaper, up towards your chest, the date must be visible. Newspaper can’t be more the two days old 

 

The second step scale calibration verification a 6 pack of water must be placed on the scales to verify that the scale calibration if scales must be within 700gr over or under to be approved. 

 

The final step is weight verification. Video must be a head-to-toe shot of the player standing on a scale wearing lightweight clothing with pockets out (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear). The player’s face must be clearly visible. Part of the video must be a clear close-up of the player’s weight, as indicated by the scale. All weigh-ins will be reviewed by Be the challenge if parts of the video are not clear you will be asked to submit another video. If any foul play is noted, you will be disqualified from the challenge 

Players are required to update their weight between the initial and final weigh-ins without a video upload. Be the Challenge requires Challengers to update their information once a week. If a player fails to update their information they will be disqualified with no refund. Only official weigh-ins will be used to determine winners.

(Or “Weigh-Out”). A final weigh-in may be submitted for 48 hours at the end of the 48-hour window, weigh-ins can no longer be submitted and you cannot qualify to win. If your final weigh-in isn’t approved, you will have 12 hours to re-submit your weigh-in with a new video
